I loved the Tengu fight. I put myself in his shoes.. hmm... 3 tacklers... already aggressed, sweet, can't be worse than what's on the other side. *jumps into a 60 frigate swarm* ah crap. *burns back to gate and jumps back through*
Almost felt like I was killing a noble animal with the way he was killing off our tacklers once he'd jumped back through. The mad rush to try and get in range, overloading all my mids to score a jam to keep my gang mates alive. Thankfully, someone was managing to hold a point as scrambler after scrambler sacrificed themselves for the pack to draw closer. Loved that
It was a good fight for sure, tho I made several noob mistakes that could have been (and almost were) fatal. Those jams of which you speak saved my @$$ . (literally)

That was fun...I bubbled and then managed to get a web on him (nice turn of speed:)) just long enough for Bamar to get a web/scram on him. I went down. Bamar held on long enough for a few more tacklers to get points... it was definately a pack of wolves pulling down the noble stag

My father used to say that not playing to win is like sleeping with your sister. Sure she's a great piece of tail, with a blouse full of goodies, but... it's just illegal. Then you get into that whole inbred thing. Kids with no teeth who do nothing but play the banjo... eat apple sauce through a straw... pork farm animals.

Only constructive comment, which I noticed while reviewing the course materials:
http://www.agony-unl...itle=EWAR_Guide still shows the old Falcon and Rook EW bonuses
Done!

If you're not having fun you're doing it wrong.

Maybe thermodynamics should be added to the "if possible please train" list for pvp basic. Doesn't pretty much everyone in 0.0 overheat their mods on a regular basis? Could basic info on overheating be included in the course, or is this saved for more advanced classes.
Overheating is really an advanced skill. Not only is there a lot of training involved for it, but used wrong you will quickly burn up all your modules and leave yourself unable to do anything at all.
I wouldn't say the difference it makes is essential, definitely in a pvp-basic class. A little extra dps/tank/speed is occasionally enough to make a difference in situations like the one the tengu found himself in, but for a member of the class I think that difference is pretty negligible.
