Right feed back please. Thanks to all, nice way to end the class and you lot were fun to work with. High lights, Double Badger kill of the same guy, Tengu Kill, Logs off skies, Pirate camp busting...... Aim was to enjoy the class.

Anne Bonney, a notorious pirate in her own right, told her husband, Calico Jack Bonney, as he was captured by pirate hunters,
“if you'd have fought like a man you needn't hang like a dog”.

Done some class's

Totally awesome. Can't wait to go on another. Was very long, and a bit slow going at the beginning, but it was a lot of fun and I learned a lot. Even the end where the fleet got massacred was good times.
Fact: 3 out of 5 people are not the other 2.

Much fun! I'll certainly be back for more. Excellent job by Caldak and the rest of the Agony folks (not to mention some of the alumni and students).

Very well-put-together course. There was a lot I had already learned from my corp mates and hunting around the internet but the course filled out a surprisingly large number of little details, and introduced me to some useful maneuvers. During the lecture portion, the instructors always sounded like they cared about us comprehending the material. I've been in low level college math and science courses that were for whatever reason taught by PHD's in the respective fields, and you can always hear in their voice, "why am I teaching this basic garbage to these kids?" Never got that vibe from the pvp-basic instructors. Thanks to the instructors and the fleet support that run this stuff. I'll definitely be making room for the more advanced courses some time down the road.

When the roams still started from Nonni I once jokingly predicted that one day Caldak would lead a class all the way down to Paragon Soul... oh well. !lol !lol (yes, I know, Teonusude, wormhole and stuff, but still...) It's 11.30 am here now, and I just returned to Teon in my crippled frig from our Little Big Horn at HED... and it was a blast! The Tengu alone was all worth it. That's the right stuff...

Link to 3 more kills here

I was very, very impressed. The instructors were fantastic. Very, very clear in their individual tutorials and I undocked with a strong sense of direction of what was expected of me as a result. There was a clear feeling that we were there to have fun but to learn as well and both goals were well-achieved - I had a blast. As a teacher, I appreciate the enthusiasm of the instructors - outstanding work guys.

I will certainly be signing up for future ops/roams - now I understand the real attraction to EVE's PvP and how fun it is.

Thanks again to all who ran the op.

Wow - was great fun - in hindsight maybe we should have dropped off our loot before suiciding into the gate camp... We definitely had the opportunity, but seemed like none of us wanted to miss a minute of the fight. The Tengu was awesome - He can't overheat forever. I hope I can go again soon - definitely looking foward to wolfpacks

I enjoyed the class and learned quite a bit. The theory portions were well presented and easily understood. The roam was well coordinated and very enjoyable. I have been on roams in the past which which were complete disasters. It was nice to see the effective combination of intel and tactics to take down key targets. It was obvious that a lot of time has been put into the planning and execution. Thanks for the class!

I'm back in high-sec after 40 jumps through 0.0 from a spot I logged off. The theory part was a bit longer than I anticipated. I'd appreciate more time spent practicing spiral approach, warping mechanics etc. and less time spent with stuff that is already mentioned in wiki articles. I've learned quite a few new tricks (how to spot a passive tanked ships, TAM) One can really see the Agony pilots have a lot of fights under their belts. For anyone reading this who has not taken a course yet: highly recommended.

very good, but nearly all the kills were blue to me :( Will have to come by for another roam to make up for it!

I had a blast! The instructors have a real passion for teaching, and it shows. I learned quite a few new things from the classroom section. They kept it interesting by demonstrating what they were talking about with specific examples, and it never got boring. The roam was by far the coolest thing I've done in Eve to date. The FC was firm, but he was fair. Excellent leadership qualities, and I'd fly with him any day. Tech 1 Frigate: 250k Modules to fit it out: 150k Taking down a billion-plus Tengu alongside 50 "el cheapo" ships just like mine: PRICELESS!!

Smashing course, cohesive unit of instructors able to take up variety of roles if need arises. It takes a good player to conduct successful pvp operations. It takes a great player to be able to teach that same operation to others. All the pilots that attended tip our glasses to the great pilots that make the university possible.

"tip our glasses to the great pilots that make the university possible" Here, here! Despite having never been in combat or 0.0 space before, I never felt lost or uncertain as to my role in the fleet. Not that I could follow everything the FC and covops folks were talking about . . . but I understood that their jobs were to get us to the targets, and our jobs were to shoot them! Can't wait for other classes.

Keep up the fantastic work! Mid way through our roam, I wondered how much e-pain must be inflicted by Agony Unleashed over the course of a year. How many enemies are made with the wanton destruction of so many ships and pods. Then I realized it is the fun of a fight, good Eve players value more than anything else. The near total destruction of the remnants of our fleet after the official close to the class solidified this opinion--even if I had lost a much more expensive ship I would have felt it a satisfying end to a terrific time. Thank you for providing this valuable service to the Eve community. Just keep it up! I will be signing up for more advanced classes, and look forward to future Basic roams as an alumni.

I thought the instruction part was a little repetitious after having read the wiki articles several times. Overall the instructors were excellent in the information they gave, Caldak was superb in "prying" information from the students during his instruction time, it really made me think about a few things, especially information not contained on the wiki. The TAMs section was nice to have practiced for, especially after those bombers intruded on our roam, but I think a bit more time executing maneuvers, bombs, spiral approach, etc would have been nice to have gone through. Overall I had fun and was really impressed how smoothly leadership fell to Gizznit and Dimensionline when Caldak DC'd for that extended length, even though our pace slowed quite a bit, but that could have been because we had no targets nearby. Busting the camp in HED-GP was fun, and the finale was even better. I had a lot of fun overall and will definitely return for more.

FYI: Class schedule is sticked on the enrollment page (4th down from the top): http://www.agony-unl...opic.php?152170

Next wolfpacks is on October 24 @ 23:00. We should have the November schedule up by next weekend but I don't expect a wolfpacks in November but we'll be having an HSLR class along with a couple basic classes.

Wolfpacks and Advanced are really my favorite classes. They move faster and include some really useful information.

I thought the instruction part was a little repetitious after having read the wiki articles several times.

This is something we continue to work on balancing.

We have to deal with
a) People who read the information and absorbed it - Excellent, but it doesn't hurt to have a quick recap
B) People who read the information but are unsure of some things - This is fine, don't be afraid to ask for clarification etc.
c) People didn't read anything or who claim to have read it but didn't really - Most of the time they will ask too many questions on items already covered in the material and slow the class down.

On top of that some people learn better in different ways. Some people learn fine with written word, other people find spoken lessons to be easier and some need to to it practically by example and practice.

So each class is balanced a bit differently depending on the responses we get from the students and sometimes this means the class is a bit slower or has more repetition of material. If a class is prepared we can run through things far quicker and even cover some additional topics.

Hopefully that gives a little insight into life as an instructor :)

On this issue, I read the information, knew some of it from "amateur" roams with friends and a few 0.0 dwellers and had read articles online as well. Not once did I begrudge hearing it from the instructors as it reinforced what I knew and helped with the nuances that aren't covered in the articles. I don't think it's a waste of time - just my opinion though :)

Agony Unleashed PVP-BASIC Class... 12 million ISK T1 Kit Rifter... 600k ISK Killing a BILLION ISK SHIP with a fleet of the 'weakest' ships in the game... PRICELESS Now for the serious part: Great class! Dimensionline, Caldak and the backup FC Gizznitt did a great job! (Way to pick up the fleet on the fly, FC DC is always a bad thing) Had a ton of fun and got my first t3 kill *cheer*. Can't wait to do it again. And of course, hats off to the dictor pilots that go out knowing they will be fitting new ships soon. -Khazin

Also, it should be mentioned that the pilots participating were very generous and definitely "team players". When pilots went to call it a night they often would eject from their ship and turn it over to another person who was flying around in a pod. The number of 1-2m fitted ships being given away freely and openly was a pleasure to see. Made the fleet feel more like a team/family the way they shared their resources. If people needed additional ewar/scripts/ships it was quickly volunteered. We're not necessarily talking about a lot of isk, but its not insignificant and it certainly made it a lot more enjoyable to keep as many people as possible in fleet and in fighting condition. I can't wait to fight again... Also, special thanks to Gizznitt for getting magical points on the first few ships we took down. While the fleet is holding on a gate and a ship comes though - just when we thought it got away before we could lock it Gizz would call out "point on ___" - helped to start the roam off on the right note. Does he use targeting implants? 8)

This...

I won't mention any names, as I'll probably forget someone, but this impressed me as well. Hats of to the participants that gave up their ship (cheap though it may be) so that someone else could stay in the fight. :D
