New prices in effect immediately? Meaning today's Wolfpack registration requires 18mil?
Kieler, I wouldn't expect the prices to go into effect for today's Wolfpack registration, since the announcement email contained the previous price. The change will be in effect for future Wolfpack classes however.

Never be afraid to admit ignorance. It is natural to be initially ignorant of many things and this condition is easily cured. Stupidity, on the other hand, is and should always be a terminal disease.

1) multiple signups per post
This seems like a very reasonable thing (I actually already expected that to be the case earlier). If you want to be in, you should take the effort to post yourself, because the spoils should go to those who post. However, you should consider adjusting the opening time of the sign up thread according to the time zone of the course, so the people who the course is intended for are actually awake and able to sign up themselves.
2) New prices
Raising the prices and the reasoning behind it seems perfectly understandable. Actually, I think the courses are under priced as they are. esp. when I think of the amount of effort you put in. However, I also understand that raising some prices even further would lock true newbies out.
I'd suggest making the prices a bit more dependent on character age, but there's too many ways around that with alt creation. Perhaps you could just request older players to make a more sizable contribution with some suggestions.
3) PVP Spider
Seems like an interesting one, esp. since it seems to be such a successful tactic for BSs in PVP. I'm sure many more BS-tactics could be useful to get taught: perhaps the could be rolled into this one?
Just my 0.02 ISK .... excuse me .... 0.04 ISK due to inflation

I don't claim to understand or even to know the policy behind having signups on Mondays. But is there a reason why it is not done on the weekends?
Mere curiosity and in no way critical of how it is being handled.
It's just easier for me to handle. Both the classes I've scheduled recently have been 1800 EVE time, so the registration starts at 1800 EVE.

And just to add to that, since we've been doing a LOT of classes this month, The PVP-U admins have typically been involved in an active course the weekend before.
But point taken.

For PVP-SPIDER, is there any chance of getting an informal/unofficial list of requirements/guidelines on skills and ships needed? I know it's early and the course isn't finalized, but if significant training is needed it would be nice to know ahead of time.
I've just returned from holiday and don't know a lot about the course, but if you want to fly in a spider BS gang, then you won't go far wrong with:
1. fly a racial battleship of your choice,
2. remote repair armor and/or shield -
3. fit a reasonable buffer tank for armor and/or shield
4. fit large guns or cruise missiles/torps.
5. Cap management skills will also be very important - the ability to fit cap boosters will most likely be beneficial.

Ok. So it's just a personal decision by the individual instructors rather than policy. Thx for the info.

Yup, as instructors in other timezones run courses the signup times will vary, hence the pre-reg threads to give people a heads up

Exact skill reqs will come in the future, but as Baka said you want to be able to fly a BS well, which means good support skills, T2 gear, etc. T2 guns will most likely not be required, but are encouraged, other than that it's likely that we'll require T2 fittings. You should have good fitting skills to be able to use the suggested setups, and you should have good support skills (ie gunnery/missile supports to 4, drones 5, etc)

Update: Armor tanking is likely to be preferred, and I forgot drones - I'd go for T2 Mediums as a minimum.

Personally I found the DevBlog quite helpful, plus being stuck in w-space is a really great motivator if your goal is learn2scan
