I think it's related to tournament footage of a certain Hero Vigil evading being killed, until he was bribed to simply self destruct. ... but you could be right also.

If you mean *this one*, then yes that was us - he is the one with the probably drunken TS rantings (warning - that MP3 has somewhat colourful language, definitely NSFW or those with a faint heart!) about the relative size of his and his alliance mates' balls...

EVE is a dark and harsh world, you're supposed to feel a bit worried and slightly angry when you log in

heh, Weeks must have been drunk as well (and maybe still is

)

It was a fun fight, and hes correct that many of us docked up to get bigger/more appropriate ships, but the entire engagement only lasted about 13 mins, as evidenced by both the length of the audio and the time between kms (cyno scorp died @ 01:04, Archon died at 01:15)

I'm still kicking myself for not remembering to start Fraps until after the fight was over

( (it was already loaded and running on my machine at the time, all I had to do was press F9 :grr: )

(Weeks -I beleive the 100 nubs discussed in the prev post was a reference to the size of upcomming basic class)

you're right, it wasn't that long, just seemed like it. I just got to listen to it on Vent, was clonejumped somewhere across EVE and couldn't pod myself back in time.

Most classes do... there have been some seriously benny hill moments in the past. The last BASIC class we had some fun station/warp antics that could have benefited from a circus theme.
