This was complained about during the summit and was originally raised by CSM3.

Yes it is annoying but as bombers are currently FOTM and people are even crying for them to be nerfed I don't hold much hope that the decloaking each other on grid "bug" will be sorted

The people farming datacores while offline causes prices to fall for people like me who risk their ship in lowsec and 0.0 to farm them in radar sites. To be honest I don't see how that is fair for me.

I've started a document with all of the issues raised by CSM4 and who raised them. I might add (if people are interested) who voted on them. This information is public but not currently in a single document.

So why are you complaining about the price of datacores if it is only a secondary income in comparison to the (admittedly much more lucrative) decryptors?


I have a single character (one of my mains) that I trained up to farm research agents, and the amount of time and effort it took me to do so put me off doing it on any of my other 7 characters... There are (at least) two factors in EVE that stack up against reward - risk, and effort. To farm datacores from research agents takes a significant investment of effort.

I'll acknowledge that the effort involved with getting standings is probably not insignificant. Still, I think the concept could be improved upon. How about adding some minigame aspect to it, for instance with walking in stations?

Tea, how seriously is CSM taking PL's 'not appearing in local' hax? I want to see accounts banned and ISK sunk. As an added bonus, if technologically feasible it would be nice if all PL members could have their ability to see ANYBODY in local removed for a year or so.

At the moment there is so much drama about this issue and nobody really knows who did what. Only thing known for sure is that an exploit is possible. Whether or not it was actually used and by whom is not at all clear at this point.

It seems to me, that if there were any truth to the story that members of PL were really using this exploit, then they would take the matter much more seriously than they are. For instance I am pretty much convinced at this point that Angels unban petition thread is a troll, pure and simple.

CCP will definitely plug the hole asap, which unfortunately may not be as soon as people would like. It may very well be impossible to determine if the exploit was actually used. The logs will probably have their usual level of informativeness. I guess if the exploit is fixed and their successrate drops afterwards. That would be an indication that something has been up, but this still doesn't prove anything conclusively.

The evidence is pretty overwhelming, imo. Insane kb stats. FRAPS. Multiple independent accusations. The proven existence of the exploit. An alleged internal forum thread discussing the exploit that comes off as totally legit (at least to me.) And more ...

And kudos for the principled position on datacores. I'd just as soon see them removed from the game. Old-timers have enough inherent advantages without a TOTALLY passive isk faucet.

I should clarify.

CCP employees playing on the TQ server use standard player accounts that are no more HAX than yours or mine. They are allowed to do anything a player can do but CCP rules forbid them from scamming. Internal affairs keep an eye on this stuff.

Some CCP employees also have super accounts (CCP ), but everything they do is monitored by internal affairs and they are only to be used for work related things. At least this is my understanding.
