I just counted the votes in this thread, added my 4 (+1 more in a week I hope, stupid power of two) as well as a couple of votes from twitter.

I really don't know how many votes I'm picking up outside of here, but third party blog posts like *this* are very great to see.

I've had a couple of reports of the site returning "Currently there is no open submission period." so it is possible they've busted the website already.

Having been bitten by website submission bugs before (Agony's lost alliance tourney signup) I hope this doesn't indicate a problem (and thus lost votes from my core supporters).

Keeping an eye on this...

I went back to check after I read this and all my accounts are getting the 'one vote per account' message, so hopefully the votes have 'stuck'

If not this would be very dissapointing.

i put a thread on the 30+ EVE Online site . and there is a reply from a guy indicating he had already cast all his votes (did not say how many) for you. i would guess this means there are many more similarly inclined people in other corps you would probably have to register to see that thread

if you ask very nicely GMs can reactivate your inactive accounts for a day ... and then you can do things like bump some sell orders, claim your datacores, and also vote for CSM ... i got 6 reactivated and 7 more pending

A lot of people abstaining should actually improve your percentage of votes cast (along with several of the other better quality candidates).

A large percentage of those who abstain would have voted for someone else if they had voted - many without researching candidates - so the higher quality candidates will actually get larger proportions of the votes cast.
