What about agile battlecruisers? A nanocane or shield harb is more agile and faster than a standard sniper zealot or plated arbitrator, for example. Maybe you could put some limits on EFT mobility/agility numbers and let us bring whatever fits the bill? Might increase our firepower very nicely. Heck, that may cut down on some of the more brick-like cruisers as well and keep the fleet more mobile.

.No this isn't an attempt at registering at all...not even a sly surreptiously intelligent one ! I was just here to say hello and had no intentions of ever trying to register for a pvp basic course at all. Furthermore I would just like to say that if you want to register it isn't here it's somewhere else at a totally different time as well That's directed at anybody from my corp who are definitly not laughing at me at this point in time hehe

The problem is that BC warp at the same speed as a BS, not the same as a cruiser. It's the same reason we don't bring destroyers along on PvP-Basic classes. Even if you align at the same speed you reduce the warp speed of the entire gang (from 6 au/s to 3 au/s in the case of a destroyer in a frig gang).

Not to attempt to derail the thread, but i'm pretty sure that all non-frigate tech 1 stuff warps at 3.0 AU/s. It's tech 2 cruisers that warp a bit faster (3.75 AU/s).
