Afterburner bug?

I just sent this bug into CCP and knowing how you guys love afterburners I thought I would post it here. Long story short, if you warp with your afterburner on, when you come out of warp your ship performs as if the afterburner is still on. Example: My Stabber normally accelerates to 328 M/S in 15 seconds. If I warp to a planet, set max speed, engage afterburner, and then warp to another planet (leaving the afterburner engaged), when I come out of warp and set max speed my ship now takes a little over 90 seconds to get to 328 M/S. Just thought I would tell you guys because of everything you have taught me. Thanks again, Kaz

Went out in a Riter and tried to replicate this and I couldn't... But then I put a 10MN afterburner on my Rifter and it did the same thing. So it must be limited to retards like me that want to put a BIGASS afterburner on their little ship... Anyway - heads up :)

The faster the ship is going, the longer it takes for it to alter its course. If you come out of warp at full speed, it might take a while to align somewhere else. Oversized afterburner can give you about as high top speed as an mwd one class below it, without the sig radius penalty. However, it also increases your ship's mass, and therefore decreases its "agility", so by the time you actually accelerate to that top speed you'll probably fly couple hundred km, not entirely sure it's really worth it...
