WOW the basic class was full PDQ.. Would this level of interest not warant an increase in available classes? Seems to me that there are just not enough basic classes scheduled. .

Organizing a class like those Agony offers is not a simple task. They do know that the demand is strong. And they are posting as many classes as they can. But they also need to spend SOME time actually playing EVE. We do not want them to wear out.

One evening you go to a theater and watch a play there. The play lasts only 2 hours and the actors' performance is simply astounding. Everyone stands up and applauds, and wonders why the group doesn't run it more often as tickets were so hard to get that many didn't even make it to the show. What was not directly visible from the stage to the audience are the many months of hard work that the actors have spent practicing and rehearsing to put together the whole play. Agony classes are kind of like that - it takes work to put them together that is not apparent to the audience that attends them. Plus, PVP University has been affected with the summer's coming and people going AFG due to end of year exams or vacations.

Aether really hits a lot of the key points. If Agony could offer more classes, we would. We aren't a giant corp and we all the play the game for fun too, so it's a balance. All of the Agony pilots that participate in classes, both on the instruction end and as fleet members, are all volunteers that do it for the love of the game. Just like you attending a class for 8-10 hours is a big commitment in time, energy and isk, it's the same for our members and we try to balance things out a bit. (We even had an internal frigate tournament going during yesterdays class.) From the looks of things, the class that opened yesterday, filled in less than 3 minutes. We are putting together the summer schedule and we will be having extra classes as part of the summer spike in eve players.

Also in addition to having fun with internal corp events that's how all our guys learn and develop new tactics. If all we did was classes when possible then it would be much more difficult for us to bring along new scouts, intructors, and FCs. Plus when it comes down to it we're a 0.0 pvp corp that teaches rather than a teaching corp that does 0.0 pvp which is exactly why our classes are good. Long storu short we choose to go with quality rather than quanity.

Please don’t get me wrong here; I understand that you guys do a grand job, and that the organization for this type of thing must be a real ball ache. It just that the popularity of the courses seems to have out stripped the supply

It's no ball ache. And, yeah, some people will have to wait a little bit to be able to participate... so our courses are good for both, ability... and patience. Greetings, Prime
