Question, for any AU instructors: This course is listed as being at Berta instead of Nonni. In one of the docs it said that Nonni was a good, cheap place to buy/equip three frigates (or Jita was close). What is the situation in Berta? Thanks.

The purchasing situation there is relatively bleak - I'd recommend hauling your ships in from elsewhere.

Rens (0.9sec, Heimatar region) is only 8 jumps north of Berta. The route is all hisec. That's the best I know of.

Another question: the PvP Basic checklist has a link to a page for 'Recommended Modules for Basic', but said page is only accesible to AU members. Will the course materials include what modules we should bring? Thanks. Sen Gyounen (E-UNI currently, going NPC corp for duration of class)

Sen- you'll get access to all the articles about a week ahead of the scheduled class - this way the material is fresh in everyones mind. Also you don't need to drop E-UNI to be in the course or our gangs - we welcome everyone... as long as they follow the ROE and Instructors commands. (even them ebil-piwrats)

To clarify - this is an Eve University requirement, not an Agony requirement. Eve University forbids members from unauthorised 0.0 encounters; they don't specifically forbid you to take an Agony class. Their policy is in place to allow them to maintain good diplomatic relationships with as many entities as possible.

Out of respect for our peers at Eve-U, we advise Eve-U members to seek advice from their Eve-U tutors before attending; but we don't ourselves require that you leave Eve-U before class.

Yes, thanks, I already talked to the E-Uni director, and he advised me to leave the Uni for the duration of the class. I was mainly noting it in my post that I would be in a different corp than the one I signed up as Sen

Two more questions First, is there one specific region that we will be flying in? If so, which? I'd like to print out some maps in advance. Second, I have tried to get to the Teamspeak info page, and get the 'you must be an ensign' to access. Where/when would we get the TS info? Thanks Sen

I don't know whether Agony will want to reveal the region they're going to go for in advance, or even if it is where I think it is, but you can make a pretty good guess by looking at the Derelik map and finding Berta. Vent (not TS, unless something has changed very recently) info is on the wiki here: http://www.agony-unl..._PvP_Operations You'll need to be logged in, and someone must have enabled all the priveleges for people on the class (which if it's the one this weekend, I think they have). If you're down for that class and still cant access it, shout at one of the agony guys.
