I put together a video from the 84 gigs of Fraps

I really loved the preparation for the fight, so :
If you want to see the preparation plus the fight, start from the beginning
If you want to see only the fight jump to 6min 40sec
If you want to see the "killing stuff" jump to 11min 30 sec
Carrier died 14min

Have never seen Caldak that excited :)

It was a two-night op really. Previous night they kicked us about a bit but we got a fight, Caldak asked alumni at the end of that roam what they could bring for the next night. Worked well although light on DPS.

Sweet! - downloading the HD version now. I hadn't done the class roam on the night before, so I had been a bit confused as to why it was suggested to stage a BC in Stacmon - but good thing I did. Of course after reshipping I was wondering why I couldn't online all of my launchers, until I remembered that my fits usually expect a PG4 implant, which my new clone didn't possess Overall it was a very good event, even though personally I noticed how rusty I have gotten at this stuff.

Flying with Agony this past weekend was the most fun I've ever had in Eve so it's great to be able to watch that over again. Thanks for taking the time to put that together!

Aw, I signed up for this roam but ultimately put up a gate camp with my corp instead. Missed a carrier kill dammit! Next time!

I can only agree with Tsuiban, plus for us, Europe timezone , it is so much nicer to have the roams in Saturday, as in Sunday roams, at one point we have to bail off, Monday, some of us are working. I personally do not care if I finish the roam in Sunday morning at 0500 or even 0700 , but I cannot do this in Monday morning ( Just an opinion here, no complaint )

What's not shown is me warping my pod back in and charging towards whoever targeted me first. It was a knee-jefk reaction to get my pod out, and I did so before realizing that the fastest way back to the fight was via pod express.

Another comment: if the information you're giving on comms depends on who "I" or "me" or "them" or "you" is, then you should be speaking in the third person and using names, not using pronouns. Caldak's forgivable, because everyone knows who "I" and "me" are when he says them.

To be fair a lot of us are guilty of this, its familiarity is all.

For example I know most of the Agony class support by voice. Haven't a scooby who most of them are in RL but in voice channel I know who they are.

They in turn know the more "vocal" of the repeat alumni - /me pleads guilty to that one - just from their voice.

For example - and I know its not good practice (I'm trying) - I'll normally just say "Recon - CZ, system friendly" as I know Caldak knows who is talking to him. Its wrong but its understandable if not excusable

Well, I think one intent of the classes is to give you both the knowledge and motivation to conduct your own roams...

I think that depends on whether Caldak is working on Monday or not - a roam on the night of Sunday 23 Oct would be Monday 24 Oct for him.

Would be nice as I'm just back from holidays then so will definitely feel like killing something/someone (wife booked us on Ryanair ).

Another Alumni roam would be awesome! I would definitely take a vacation day for that (I'm also in Aus)
