Yeah I heard about this one via some skydiving buddies who were out that way doing a display for the show.
Mmm you have to wonder about a P51 and a 74 year old pilot doing circuit racing. I know his experience but comes a time you wonder if its wise to continue.
Hopefully not too many of the injuries are "life-changing", can't do much about the dead now

Hunh, I used to work for NetJets Nero... though that is neither here nor there.
Terrible accident. I hope those in critical condition can pull through unharmed.

Just found out, one of the guys that used to be in the flying cub I was in back in the late 90's is one of those still hospitalized.

Ya, more bad news. The NetJets pilot that was racing there (in another class), it was his wife that was injured. She died this morning.

Worked for them way back in '05; they had an office in Oeiras (Portugal) and I was working with a ground team for inventory & loading etc.

Saw it on the news this morning, don't know what to say other than it's terrible and I hope the rest of the people in hospital make it.
