Thanks for coming everyone! It was a long roam (finally called it a night at about 23:30 eve time), and I had a lot of fun.

I'm planning to put up an AAR on my blog tomorrow (http://altruist.azual.co.uk - end of shameless plug) and I'd be interested in hearing your feedback on the FCing, the kind of gang, the way I ran the roam etc.

Good roam, thanks for those alumni that stepped up and took on a different fleet role then originally anticipated. The timing of the gang was unfortunate so only very few Agony members could participate. We were unlucky the gang started out in a bad part of low sec where the opposition was a bit larger then anticipated but the fight in 7Q-8Z2 made up for it. Can't wait for Azual's april fool's joke next year....

Everytime I go out with Agony I learn something new. Like that tactic at the end of the roam by Azual to see if the roam was still awake... But seriously tks to all who came and especially those who re-shipped and took on different roles. A big tks to whomever suggested going to 7Q and to Azual for being FC. (Still interested in what the other Agony guys were up too) Always up for another one (even if it starts at 1am my time... ) Zor

I think it was a fun roam.. a bit more logi support and some ecm ships ..falcons ..arazus ..CURSES etc coulda made it better to engage some more...would like to see another one run but a hit and run fleet where we are ready to go on time and them roll hard and fast til we hit a fight...perhaps more tacklers too!!! I think if we are going to do it again pilots have a spare ship fitted ready to go.. so we dont need to wait for fitting etc...(THANKYOU WORLD OF TANKS YOU HELPED ME GET THROUGH THE SLOW PARTS/WAITING) also a cyno with a support fleet woulda made the first fight BETTER with some cap kills..he he he I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SEE A AGONY BLACK OPS ROAM THATS ME 2 CENTS CATCH YA ALL SOON..indy

While I wasn't in a Drake/Cane, working with the fleet to help scout and bait targets made me realize that from a tactical perspective there's a fair advantage in having a relatively mobile fleet capable of tanking a medium amount of damage; even where split. It's even cost effective to boot. Overall I think that the roam was a great idea. One hell of an April Fools, imo; was loads of fun. On a personal note, despite my having a pretty shitty night irl (quite literally), this roam made my day & smacked a smile on my face - even after losing the stiletto. Thanks Az. Oh, and P.S.
