Hi,
I think I have read all the FAQs and advisories, and I have obviously missed the window for the basic course this weekend. I can see no other future courses open and availabel and would like to try plan on doing your courses as soon as I am able.
Can you advise me of the general frequency of courses? Are basic courses run roughly monthly, or three-monthly, or what? Do wolf-pack courses (etc) usually follow basics by a few weeks?
Some general advice would be helpful so I can plan (and save) ... and if that general advice is out here somewhere and I've missed it then a suitable admonishment would also be fine

The info you seek can be found in this thread. Join the in game mailing list and keep an eye on the forum. The courses are usually announced well advance. Do remember to sign up the moment it opens up as spots in a course go fairly quick. Classes are run when they are announced, that is the best I can tell you about how regular they are run.

Scheduling is really up to when the instructors have enough spare time to run them.
It would be no fun if we made a set schedule and tried to stick to it - Eve has to be fun even for instructors!

As a rough guide, I'd expect about 1 Basic class per month, and 1 Wolfpacks every 2 months.
Right now sheduling is a little haphazard, however I expect to announce the schedule for Feb within the next week or two.

Is there any rough guidance on how often Advanced classes are offered? From looking on the forums, it seems like the last class was in July 2009.

Yeah, I know!
Don't expect anything for the first week of feb definitely.
Advanced is currently undergoing a little bit of a rework. Expect one soonish, but there is no fixed schedule for advanced classes, mainly due to how few people can teach them.
