This feature is working as intended! Ok joking aside, that's actually by design. While some sections of the wiki are public (including some of the required reading), most of the reading articles will be assigned to you once you are enrolled on the class. Once the signup has been processed, we'll grant access to all the necessary articles, as well as the forum sections which are specific to our students. In understand that some people like to get their hands on everything early and start reading (I was the same!) but this is the way it works. You'll have more than enough time to read everything, don't worry!

We've done some experimentation over the years and found that if we give access too early, many people read the materials and forget most of what they read. We've settled on about a week before the class as this gives enough time to read the materials, but in general terms, retention is quite good. (btw: I also do this in RL, when we roll out a big IT project we need to be very careful to time the training for our front-line staff for exactly the same reasons).
