[Arkole Blake]

All footage in this video was captured during the July 11-12 PVP basic class. I was flying skirmish, so I missed quite a few of the kills, but there is a shot of the DoomsDay firing.(and my Raptor exploding in the proccess %-6 )
This is my first Eve Video, so feedback would be appreciated.

Edit - The format is somewhat dissipointing, it displayed fine on my 24" WS at home last night, but I just downloaded it at work and it is slightly distorted on the 20" non-WS I use here

Looked good on my widescreen, I liked the movie, but I'm a skirmisher so it's what I enjoy doing What is the deal with fraps, do you need to buy the retail version to fraps more than 'x' seconds? And does fraps always increase the speed of the playback? I wished I had fraps'd some of my kills.

Thanks for the reply, glad you liked it. (I probably should have put up a warning about the music, its not really bad, but possibly something you wouldnt want small children hearing)

As far as the FRAPS questions.

The trial version will only record for (I think) 30 seconds at a time, and imbeds an annoying 'trial' message in the video.

The increased speed was done with the editing software just to keep the pace of the vid up a bit. FRAPS records in real time so you can view it at normal speed if you wish.

good vid and that music had a nice rhythm to it ... only thing i would advise is in instances where you are not taking damage and aren't likely to die you can zoom in to the target to fraps it taking hits, and also ctrl+tab to remove windows and brackets from screen - that would make for some pretty visual effects for those of us who like teh shiny

Yeah nice vid Arkole - I will need to get with you on Vent sometime as I now have quite a lot of footage from recent weeks and I want to convert it, however when I try to render using Vegas Pro it won't let me render to Windows Media Video, saying that the resolution is too high (1680x1050), and also when I try and save the raw AVI and then use Huffy or similar in another package it won't accept the AVI. I am clearly doing something wrong :-/ Anyways - nice vid, only thing I would change is the font at the very end, but only 'cos I am allergic to TNR.
