Nope. Bring a cruiser, just remember the fitting advice from the other classes (ab, ewar, than lows and dps).

Just noticed I am listed as not attending the wolfpacks class. Part of the point in Advanced is to start thinking more for yourself, so we leave fitting as an exercise for the student. We will discuss some of the factors that go into fitting a cruiser during the class though.

Nope. Bring a cruiser, just remember the fitting advice from the other classes (ab, ewar, than lows and dps).

We'll talk about ab vs mwd again in the class. In general you should be fitting an afterburner, on a cruiser the sig radius goes to around double that of a battleship when the mwd is on plus if you get scram'd you've lost all momentum and really don't have enough to get outside scram range. There are some exception and we'll talk about them.

Looks like I'll not be able to come. Our WAN router has died, and unless I manage to get a replacement tomorrow - not very likely, since I cannot use a standard model for a number of reasons - I will have only an EDGE connection available tomorrow night. PvPing on that doesn't look very promising to me... Anyway, have fun and give 'em hell!

In any large fleet long range weapons tend to be the way to go. You get more flexibility on range, and you get to start shooting at targets right away instead of having to fly into range. Things tend to die very quickly to 60+ cruisers, so you want to get your damage on the target asap.
