Well as it is I am still prepping to take the mCATS this being since the first time I took the kaplan course, they where a disorganized bunch of idiots that did nothing more than waste my time. (Arkansas branch just couldn't get it's crap straight/schedule fixed). So as a result they main offices allowed me to retake the course again free of charge (this time in OK now that I'm graduamicated and all). And well I must say the classes are A LOT more intense, and I think Im getting a lot more out of it. However in my free time I keep finding myself missing the folks at AU, and Eve in general. So I'm considering reactivating my sub to check things out. My only worry is that I may get in over my head, trying to keep up with Agony (which would be all of my Eve time), mCATs studying (which averages at ~5 hours per day usually 7, or 6 if I work my ass off; days per week), daily life, and a more heavy workout regime for basically stress relief and to get back into shape. To top it off we might be looking at finally moving back into a permanent house as opposed to a rental for the first time in 7 years! (long story, but Ill happily tell if anyone wants to know xD) Now I've always been kind of crappy at time management so do you all think it would be worth it, or should I just keep eve on the back-burner? Sorry for the odd question, but I figure it's best to ask than make the mistake get in too deep. :@ That aside, how's it been going? Glad to see that things are alive and kicking and DAMN, you turn your back for a moment and the whole game seems to be redone, though I kind of do like what I've read about the SB changes (at least in practice). I'd say you're the only one who can answer this question - whether you have enough time to play EVE. You've played it already and know how it goes, so do you think you'll be able to enjoy it devoting x amount of whatever free hours you do have in your schedule? Some people can enjoy this game playing 5 hours a week while other choose to unsubscribe their account when it comes to that. Only you know which of these two groups you belong to. If you're afraid getting carried away and distracted I'd say try limiting your play time by scheduled events - allow yourself to attend 1 scheduled event per week plus say 2-3 hours of play time on another day devoted just to logistics and making ISK for new ships. So then you play twice a week and less than 10 hours all together - get your occasional EVE pvp fix, give yourself a bit of time to support that pvp, and other days just don't log on. ... man, i'm making this sound so tempting even to myself :@ That aside it has been going pretty well

stay with what is working (your studies, your family or success in your career are so much more important to you in the long run) - from what you say, trying to regulate your time has a substantial risk of failure and at the best, you will be tempted to play more and/or frustrated at missing exciting events. you will thank yourself for this down the road. just an opinion based on personal history lol. some may think this heresy i suppose

Thanks for the honest feedback! I was a bit worried that I'd get flamed for attempting to "make a dramatic post" or some nonsense like that. As far as the scheduling goes, thanks for the idea Aether, and probably going to stop and break down what I am doing. Because one scheduled event, plus an hour here or there does seem pretty reasonable, and it's not like I have to worry about training skills through some sort of grind xD Well thanks again for the info, and here's to hopefully working something out! -Kusa
