You are considered paid for the next class, but you still have to register as usual to get on it. You don't get any "reserved spots" guaranteed for you (at least that's how canceled classes usually go afaik). Advanced classes shouldn't be as hard to sign up for, due to them having Basic and Wolfpacks as pre-reqs (in fact i'm not sure we've ever hit the limit for this class). EDIT - disregard that, see below.
