As most of you will probably know, The Mittani, GoonSwarms spy master or cunning bastard depending on who you ask, writes a column for Ten Ton Hammer. Some of these columns have been quite interesting, but most have been so ridden with propaganda it was nauseating. The latest edition of this column however is quite interesting and amusing again, so perhaps you might be interested in reading it (linky).

Highlights:
- Seleene, leader of the former Mercenary Coalition, has turned Dev on the game design side, did work on worm holes and is now working on super capitals
- A work shop about game design turned out some interesting ideas about a 'criminal' expansion to boost low sec

I did not know but the potential for a Corruption expansion sounds cool. Maybe Agony would become a low-sec corp?

Hmmm, Mittens may have been hanging out with some other Goons... Their group in City of Heroes. The mechanics of Corruption is incredibly similar to the mechanics of one of the pvp zones there. Seleene a dev, eh... Always good to see Mittens freaked out, at least.

after you go below -5 lowsec turns into 0.0 only that at stations and at gates the gate guns will fire on you if you engage anything that is not red and blinky, and there are no bubbles which can be a good and a bad thing at the same time

oh yeah there's durka - you sit at gate and durka people warping to it at 0 and all of them do because there are no bubbles !lol - and then there's this

but yeah, with sub-bc sized ship you are reserved to attacking stuff in missions, plexes, and asteroid belts

awesome vid yeah, i can see why agony might not want to live in low-sec, but from the article it sounded like there'd be a fair bit more opportunities to fight pirates.

I don't think majority will agree to move from shooting everything to shooting pirates only. And security status drop means no highsec and harder personal logistics.

Heh I can't believe Seleene is a dev now. I remember popping him, oh it seems like decades ago now I like mittens - he's got a wicked sense of humour and the Eve-radio head to head between him and Dianabolic was priceless. He also has a sense of perspective which many in this game lose.

I think they had some very interesting ideas for the corruption expansion..... I think an expansion to give purpose to lowsec would be kewl!!!!

His TTH articles are well written, but nauseating a good portion of the time. Mittens is simply the Goons morale officer along with Spy Master. The vast majority of his posts are absolute rubbish, but funny nonetheless. If you want quasi-accurate reports for to GBBC on scrapheap. You will notice that Goons are strangely missing, which is is due to their continued attempts to spread misinformation. The mods of GBBS are very ban happy, so thats' why Mittens misinformation campaign is mainly on CAOD. His "updates" started when he got mad at BoB spies for only providing BoB with the "lulz nuggets". He apparently had an anxiety attack on GS TS and decided to start posting the entire Alliance Daily Updates, unedited on CAOD. Ykatni

Yeah, I don't even bother reading COAD unless an external thread on some ofther forum refers to it as something interesting. As for Mittens: a lot of his words are varying degrees of PR spin or blatant lies, so I don't read too much into it except for it showing 'goon perception' of all things EVE. And yeah, SHC is a great place to find out about the latest wars, but even there, you need to be able to read between the lines a lot. I just lurk there though, no posting for me.

Heh I know lots of people in BoB/Kenny, both past and present. All I can say is what goes around comes around, both in terms of metagaming and propaganda. I don't believe anything that any of them say frankly, not on forums....
