\o Hello Agony You folks really have your game together. Rarely in an MMO do you find this level of friendliness and professionalism. Though it was a class to learn the basics, We were laying the Smack Down almost right away. Most of the lessons were thorough and clear, and those that were more open ended were informative enough to make us familiar, while making it certain that there was Much more to learn. The COV-Ops crew that joined us in the practical application part really kept the blood flowing, as well as piquing my interest in that class down the road. They made scouting and finding targets sound easy on vent, but it was obvious that there wasn't anything simple about it. Hats off to the FC's that directed this Symphony of Destruction, I was having a hard time keeping up with all the intel. All in all, this is one of the best examples of what motivated people in an MMO can do. Truly Professional in every way, Easily the best isk Ive spent in the game. Pissing in so many peoples Cheerios was never such fun. Thanks again, Tyre.

Agreed, I learnt a lot and had a blast. Took a while to keep up with everything going on, but that's why I was there. I found that reading all the docs before starting the theory side was very helpful. Dime was a good instructor, didn't go too fast. Well done all, I'm happy to have helped blow stuff up! Btek

If you paid but were unable to attend, post saying so on the enrolment thread and you will be given credit for another class. Whichever class you next register for, be sure to mention that you have credit and link to the enrolment thread for the class you paid for but were unable to attend.

I had lots of fun, possibly the most fun in eve so far. Learnt a fair bit, mostly from the practical part. The only problem I had was spending 4 hours 50km away from the action in my ewar ship, felt like I was missing out sometimes. Maybe an idea is to give people an opportunity to change roles midway through the practical? So peeps can try abit of ewar and abit tackling and hence learn more. Though I understand the pain of going all the way back to high sec to change ships. But will definitely recommend you highly in my corp and will be back for more classes.

I would like to thank all who made the training possible. You all made it all look so easy, but looking back I saw a lot of thought went into picking targets and terms of engagement. I learnt a lot and will look forward to flying again as a alumni in different role or frig to see if I missed any thing. I also look forward to taking more advanced courses as I skill up. Had a great time, looking forward to coming back for Wolfpacks. Thanks to the AGONY crew and the covops students who helped us out so much. I understand the emphasis on the hydra principal, but it would be great if the class went over how these techniques can be applied to defending yourself when you don't have 30 mates orbiting you.

First off, thank you all for a great experience, I managed to learn a great deal. The leadership was amazing and you guys made it look so easy. That was my first time being in a roaming fleet and was amazed to see how complicated it really is, but you guys made it look so easy. Dime- Thank you for the first half of the class, you were very helpful and thorough. Spin and Weeks - Thanks for taking us out to 0.0, you guys did a superb job. Skirmishers - Thanks for getting and locking down the targets. Cov-Ops - Thanks for locating the targets, you guys rock. Again, thanks for the great opportunity and I will look forward to the future classes. !lol

Unfortunately I was confused about the date. You did say 0001 eve time on the 18th, but you also said Saturday at midnight on the 18th. Since most of your classes are on Saturdays I misunderstood what you meant. My fault because I could have checked. But perhaps you can try harder to avoid potential confusion.

I just logged in and was totally excited... only to realized my critical error. I feel like a complete dunce and am very frustrated with myself. ARGH x) :( . I was mentally focused on the 18th at midnight/0001 EVE time. My critical error was obviously failing to realize that EVE time is 1 day ahead and it is now the 19th. Sorry Guys, BadMessage

Learned a lot and had a great time doing it... Thanks to all for the hours of preparation and the dedication to provide a much needed and appreciated service to us all. I can't imagine how long it would have taken to learn what I did in one fun filled evening. Thank you all, I look forward to my return of Agony controlled space.

Well shoot, a bad weekend, *and* it made me miss the class. I noticed you said to post in the enrollment thread, but that thread is now closed. Were you referring to the enrollment thread for the next class we sign up for?

Phew!

PVP-BASIC's trip into 0.0 space is pretty much (with one particular exception) my first PVP experience in EVE so far, and I was a confused little newbie about 1/4 of the time. I'm glad I took some time to study the wiki prior to class.

dime explained everything really well during the first section, although I did make a few mistakes in 0.0 that had the potential of blowing me up. I look forward to returning to PVP-BASIC as alumni to make sure everything sinks in. Nevertheless, I had lots of fun and I'm already looking forward to PVP-WOLFPACKS!

Awesome fun! !lol

Sorry for delay, but I simply wanted to make sure I had enough time to think everything over and post valid feedback.

Before I start however I'll do something that you really get a lot of: thank you AGONY! I've been awake for a grand total of 27 hours, 12 of out of which I've spent at work and I still say it really was worth it. And since that was one of the European timezones... 2am-11am... !lol

Let's get down to this feedback business tho'.

1) FRIENDLY IN/OUT - there were multiple cases of problems related to it during the roam. Dime explained it during the theory section, but I feel it didn't really sink in with the class. The result was Spin being forced to ask the class wether or not one of us jumped through the gate or was it 'hostile activation'. It:
- causes delays, which might cost the class escape of a potential prey or some loses
- is stressful to the FC and rest of the class
Perhaps if it was more stressed out during the theory and then reminded once or twice during roam, the FC would have his job a lot easier.

2) COMM - somewhat related issue, not many of us remembered (or got used to) calling ourselves in 3rd person during voice chats. Needs to be reminded a few more times during the class.

3) COVOPS - the idea of having them join the party was absolutely brilliant. I mean not only they were looking for targets, they also led us newbies out of there when the roam was over (there was a gate camp at one of the systems, we avoided thanks to the COVOPS team [If you're reading this Tlak - thanks a lot!]).

4) AMMO - we had some issues with that, perhaps before the theory starts the instructor could ask all the friendly Amarr people to carry some spare ammo for less fortunate friends that actually require ammo. We had some people that had no missiles and hybrid charges before the class ended. Since the class is not about transporting goods (or looting when it comes to that) I'd be more than willing to carry some ammo for others. Didn't really think about it all before the class. I guess noone did.

5) REPAIRS - dunno if it's a common issue, but us remote repairers didn't do a very good job during class (me included to be honest). A lil' bit of reminder by the FC could go a long way to improve that situation, since not everyone notices or acts on broadcasts. (I've been into 3 skirmishes without any armor and since I'm Amarr...)

6) WRITTEN REMINDERS - I know it's a pain in the... you know where to do both voice tutorials and write at the same time, but I assume (maybe I'm wrong) that some of the class' participants had hard time listening and understanding everything that was said during theory. Maybe one of the alumni or AGONY members (designated by the head of the class) could simply copy-paste from notes the most important stuff that's being said on Vent.

7) *EDIT* LEADERSHIP - also it would be a lil' bit less of an issue during the class if there was a list prepared with all the Leadership V people plus their related skills. That way we could always have best people fitting the Squad Command slots.

To be honest, I could have just written I'm perfectly happy with the class and end my post with a 'thank you', but you get plenty of that and I hope you really are looking for constructive feedback. Please note that the above list is just my personal opinion and I won't hold grudge if you won't even read it. :P

I'm really impressed and looking forward to repeat that in the future.

I was very impressed with the leadership and the organization of the whole thing. I've been playing EVE a couple years and I still learned a few things. The practical portion was some of the most fast-paced PvP I've ever had. It seemed as soon as we killed one target, someone was locking another down in the next system. I got on 25 Kill's in four hours. And mostly with T1 frigates. I can't imagine how frustrating it must have been to be on the receiving end of all that.
