Saturday, March 7th, the faculty of PVP-U got together with the senior leadership of Agony Unleashed to hash out some of the proposals that have been made in recent weeks regarding policy changes for PVP-U courses. We discussed everything from expanded class offerings to ISK inflation ingame. The following are the results of that meeting.

1. Multiple Registrations in a single post are no longer allowed.

In order to keep things as simple as possible, we are going to be disallowing multiple registrations in a single post. This means that if you want to attend a class with a bunch of buddies, everybody needs to be on the forums and ready to shoot when the enrollment thread opens. We're giving everyone plenty of notice these days, so I don't expect this to be a major issue for smaller gangs of friends (3-4).

Those of you that wish to attend a PVP-U course with more than a few buddies, I recommend you private message myself, Tank Charlie, Spinward or Bamar. We do offer private courses for a very large premium. These are exceedingly rare and expensive, so make sure you've got a crowd you want to bring along before you start thinking about it. Our public classes are a major source of recruiting for Agony (Disclaimer: we do not poach students from other corps. If people are interested in Agony after a class, the initiative is entirely on their part to ask questions and apply), so private classes are very costly to us in terms of reaching the public.

2. Prices for PVP-U classes have changed.

The prices for BASIC, WOLFPACKS and ADVANCED have changed as follows:

BASIC - 12mil (10mil corporate)
WOLFPACKS - 18mil (16mil corporate)
ADVANCED - 30mil (28mil corporate)

The reasons for this change should be apparent to anyone who has dabbled in trade in the last few months. Prices are climbing and an abundance of ISK on the market means no end is in sight. In order to keep up with changing market conditions and to reflect what we think is an improvement over the last year in the content, presentation and professionalism of Agony's PVP-U courses, we have raised prices across the board.

Now, those of you who are complete newbies to the game and want to take BASIC, if you are having trouble collecting the necessary money for the course, contact your instructor (preferred) or one of the people mentioned above (Weeks, Tank Charlie, Spinward, Bamar) and we will work with you to help you build up the ISK. We have no problem providing assistance to those who are truly new to the game, as should be immediately obvious due to the nature of the service we provide. Personally, I will take anyone who asks out to rat in nullsec or run missions with you to help you build up the ISK. There is no reason for you to be left behind because you can't roll up the ISK necessary. A quick warning, though, please do not abuse the good nature of your instructors. We are Agony after all and are overall quick to temper, with itchy trigger fingers.

3. PVP-SPIDER course in development!

And now for some good news! Bamar has indicated that, once we have completed our renovations of the core material post-Apocrypha patch, he is interested in developing and teaching a seminar on Spider-tanking battleship gangs! This is a very cool and common tactic in PVP, used to focus repair on whatever ship is being primaried at any given moment using remote repairers and logistics drones. Look for more details as they come available.
