I've just signed up for the BASIC class, but since my ISP ceased to cooperate with me at the moment I had to do it via a mobile. Would it be okay if I covered the class fee with 12-24 hour delay? (same applies to a friend of mine - Issachar)

Asking because we wouldn't want to miss the class. Thanks in advance.

This usually isn't a big deal, just be sure to note when you send the money.

I will be opening a corporate account for Lightspeed Enterprises soon, but I had a question regarding member authorization. We would like to approve which members can sign up for a course, but its a bit unclear to me what the best way is to do that. Especially since I will open the account probably before we know which members are interested and eligable

When the account is created I can of course add those members to the post, but what to do later? Or rather, how do we update the authorized list? Just add another post to the credit and corp accounts forum makes sense, but maybe you'd like us to do that differently.

At the top right of your post, you'll see 3 icons, quote, report and edit (if you didn't make the post you'll only see report and quote). Create your account and put a note saying "authorised members to be advised". Then when you authorise them, edit your post and list the members. It's far easier than trying to troll through a billion posts looking for your most reccent one.

Correct, we hold both the theory part of the curriculum and the practical portion on the same day. This is one of the main reasons why most classes take place on the weekends.

Then just make sure you link back to your original Basic thread, preferably in your sig, and you'll be good to go mate. From there just sign up as a returning alumni on the course thread.

Please mention somewhere that you MUST sign up specifically in a thread created by Agony member (to avoid threads like this). Right now it is not mentioned anywhere, so technically enrollments in that thread could be considered valid (it was created after 18:00 GMT after all). It is only mentioned in wiki that you should post in "appropriate enrollment thread", but that's kinda vague.

Also, please remove the mention of the buddy system from wiki page if you are not currently supporting buddy system.

I managed to fight my way through the signup for the May 23rd PVP Basic class and am nimber 31 on the list. I sent in my isk as the instructions said. How do I know if I made the class? There has been no listing in the sign up thread yet. Also, I am in EVE-UNI and have discussed it with the leadership. They are very happy to have us take your classes. I will get a LOA from EVE-UNI and join a NPC Corp for the class. Regards Sar Hasarin

The class is geared for between 30 and 50 students. So as #31 you should be in OK, as long as you signed up correctly (I haven't looked - if you're unsure, read the instructions and you can always edit your post). One of the class admins will go through the thread and post up the class list sometime soon - it's a long, tedious job, so it might be a little while before it's done.

If my corp is at war, is there any delay from when i quit the corp that WTs can still target me? I would like to be prepared on the slight chance of being at war whenever I get a chance to get in a class.

Pretty sure you're active as a war target for the next 24 hours after leaving a corp at war. Can anyone confirm?

Yes. There's a 24 hour period after leaving where the war continues against you. However, if you leave as soon as the war is declared, the 24 hour period before it starts and the 24 hour period after leaving overlap, meaning that you avoid the war dec. If you leave after it's begun, then you have to deal with the 24 hour period where they'll be free to aggress you.

Being in a Corp that's at war doesn't preclude you from taking one of our classes, we just need to know a little beforehand.

The issue would be that the war zone includes the Nonni area, and i dont want to be killed while trying to meet up / move items to the meeting area.

I would drop corp a few days in advance, so that you have enough time to move your supplies and what not out to Nonni. Alternatively, if you have an alt or a friend that's not in the wardec'd corp, you can use him to fly the frigates/industrial around.

Is there any chance of an EU time friendly class? I've been watching this forum for about a month and a half now but still had no luck finding a class. I guess I've been missing out on being on the ball to sign up at 2 am.

We run classes when our instructors are available. Our most common start time is 1800 EVE Time, but we have been known to run classes starting at midnight and noon EVE when we have volunteers to run them.

The registration for the PVP-BASIC course on the 6th of June opens on May the 23rd, at 20:00. I assume that is GMT, is that correct?
