Well here's an answer to all your problems. Well except the problem of death from cholestorol induced heart attack.

I particularly liked the flow chart.

Bugger me! That's a serious amount of bacon! I should point out there's a flaw in the original flow-chart. It says that if your frying pan is dirty you should pause to wash it. But why would you do that when there is bacon to be eaten? What a criminal waste of time...

I guess "Washing" it may just consist of heating the pan and pouring out any excess. What is excess and what is just additional flavour, is at the discretion of the cook.

Heat owns germs and stuff... trust me im a scientist.
You can probably get away without the 'pouring' stage too... unless there are any large floaters... like flies or poo

i had somebody explain to me once, on a very serious note, that this is indeed the case
his claim was that if there are napkins or paper towels in vicinity the most efficient route is to utilize them to scdestroy off remnants of whatever was cooked previously from the frying pan thus avoiding the issue of having to wash it before using it for frying again :dodge:

When my brother lived in London, I went to visit him once for the weekend. After taking a look at his kitchen I decided that for my own health I would dedicate the first 2 hours that I was there to cleaning. They had a 'bacon' pan, that was used for nothing else. Nobody could remember when it had last been washed - or my personal fear if it had ever been washed...

They had several pans like this. In washing that pan I probably saved the human race from a new rival for domination of the planet that was busily evolving its own civilsation.
