Lastly, if you're a Brit, you actually end up paying less for your Eve addiction by buying GTCs from Shattered Crystal, instead of paying CCP via a credit card! I've included some of the relevant calculations for that down below:

As you can see, there's a .05 cost increase for Americans, but the Brits actually save money, since the CCP € subscription rate is fixed, but ShatteredCrystal charges in $, and so the currently strong £ has to be converted into $ in payment. The Euro however, is substantially weaker versus the Dollar, so paying for ShatteredCrystal's GTC in € is simply not practical.
