There's an AMA (ask me anything) on reddit at the moment with a sports psychologist that I'm finding really interesting. He links through to a ton of stuff he's written on things like the psychology of long distance runners, how to prep for a game, how to get out of a funk when you're losing, and so on.
For me, it applies quite directly to the competitive FPS stuff I do these days, but then it occurred to me that if you want a bunch of people who really like to get into other people's (and their own) heads, that would be Agony While it might not be a direct takeaway, I'm pretty sure there's lessons to be learned in here.
Enjoy!
