I live just 4 km inland from the port of Holbæk...

Holbæk... ? I know you're making that up. I've SEEN the names of places in your lovely country. That one has nowhere NEAR enough completely incomprehensible bits to be a real name. Though the made up squished characters in the middle does add some credibility..

That's nothing. What if she (or any of us for that matter) lived in THIS town in Austria?

Bamar, Sanfrey and the rest of the Agony pilots, Thanks for running an excellent course - really do appreciate the time and effort that goes into a course like this. To anyone thinking of signing up for the next course, but can't quite decide - do so. It's well worth it. Hope to see you and, with luck, many of my classmates in wolfpacks soon.

Thanks to all the leads on this class it was a blast and definitely fun. To anyone who is reading this and thinking about taking a class in the future, READ UP. Reading the material means you get to learn it a second time when taking the class as application not trying to learn for the first time during class. Thanks Again! It was my first time ever going into anything below .5, and it was definitely very enjoyable time and well taught, I learned many of the "Tricks of the Trade" on how to stay alive and how to make sure your enemy does not. I definitely would not mind doing it again as an Alumni at a later date, and maybe next time helping out more with stuff.

This Class rocked ! I would like to thank Bamar And Sanfrey and the rest of the Agony pilots for making it a really awesome experience. Learned a lot from the class and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to pvp.
Would love to attend as alumni sometimes for another basic class when ever possible. Hope to see you all again in the next class.

Enjoyable Class indeed. A corp mate gave a couple of us an overview of 80% of the E-War modules, but going over them again was pretty useful. Kinda wanted that last battle to be something we got to do more than once, but it's hard to control what fish your going to find. Curious what you'd think of splitting the Class into Alpha and Beta teams and have a scrimage of sorts where things blow up..... :)

Interesing idea.... thanks.
Men of war have long known that warriors must often abandon those verities they defend. Peace, human kindness, love... for they hold no meaning to the enemy. And so, to win, do we become what we despise... and despise what we become?

Move the URL inside the square brackets. Instead of what you have now:

(link=)http://www.agony-unl...php?81123(/link)

Use:

(link=http://www.agony-unleashed.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?81123)Basic - 1207081600(/link)

You'll need to replace the ( and ) with [ and ]. The second version will then be displayed as:

Basic - 1207081600

If you click the quote button on this post, you'll see how the code is laid out on the correct version of the link.

BTW, what I was trying to explain to sanfrey about the Directional Scanner's range is this:

The number 2,147,483,647 is the largest number of a 32 Bit Integer (The common integer in programming).

In binary this is represented as 0111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111 which is 4 bytes or 32 bits.

This has no impact on the game really, but if you want you can always throw this info out, and then use it as a bonus pop quiz question to see who was paying extra attention to it.
!lol

I completely missed that! Right.. well I did say I was sure there'd be some significance to it! hehe.. I just assumed it would be something obscure and astronautical.

Wow my classes were so long ago the link stopped working. Look I took a bunch of them ok? It was a long time ago. Just trust me on it.

That sounds pretty obscure to me. Considering EVE is an imaginary computer generated Galaxy, it's no surprise it's Obscure and computer language related. :) EVE is a Binary world after all.

Guys ... Incredible day... I really enjoyed the class... The instruction was top notch.... delivery was awesome! Great Job Sanfrey. Bamar it was a pleasure to fly with you. It was a wonderful time... and I could not wait to get back to my corp and tell them.... "I lost a Rifter... and got Podded... IT WAS GREAT!!!!" Plus being able to see my name on a killboard on the other side was great!!! !lol Reminded me of the old commercial where the little girl says "And I HELPED!" Can't wait for the next class.. I'm there! Edit: Oh yeah... Bamar my favorite saying of the day was "Get the Pod" Oh man... it's gonna be hard to go back to my mild manner ways ;)

Hey thanks a bunch. I didn't mention it, but not only was it our test split class (theory/practical with different instructors) but it was my first class.

As I remember from when I was a Whitewater Rafting guide. You NEVER tell them it's your first time. I simply stated I had been rafting since I was 8 which is true. I was 8 when I went on my first rafting trip....Sound confident and let them fill in the blanks of your experience... But yeah you have a pretty good Radio/ Announcer voice which was great for the theory part of the class. :D

Yes, the "San and Bam" team was excellent. I really appreciate the time to learn more about this incredible game. I have enjoyed aspects of 0.0 for over 6 months now, but that was by far and large the best fleet op I was ever part of. I knew from the last battle that I would lose my Rifter/Pod, but I also know it was a whole lot easier to swallow than a T2 CovOp ship with T2 mods and CO Cloak! My hope is to be involved with the Bombers class on July 26, but I also have a Fantasy Football Draft happening at 01:15 Eve time, that day. I would skip it, but it's a League that I am president over. I may just go ahead and plan for the class and duck out early, before the draft, if necessary. Do any AU Alumni or instructors have an opinion, or opposed to such an idea?

Man I agree. My occupation is to train others to teach. I do it in specialized area, I am a Minister of Education in a Baptist church. In my profession, we recognize that there are people who have the "gift of teaching." Sanfrey, it is my opinion that you have that gift. I did not recognize that it was your first time, and that confirms it even more. Great job, thank you again.
