Right now I can think of only one counter measure: a combat prober who could have punted us right on top of one of the Algoses or Vigils, taking advantage of our dissimilar fleet compositions to quickly identify the targets.

Well, had the days wrong and missed the class night, but the roam was a blast. (Haven't been doing much killing in Eve for awhile.) Can always count on Agony to make some people dead!
The guys running the roam did a nice job!
