He was my recruiter. Still have so many fond memories, especially of flying into Syndicate for the first time. Me in an Ares, he in an AB Taranis.

Well he was AFG for most of it..so he really can't be held totally to blame

When I think of PVP mechanics being explained I still hear it in his voice.
I don't think I have his corpse (I collect them). I find I really really want one now before his accounts lapse...

Damn, the guy is a legend. Anyone with any interest at all in PvP eventually ends up reading his blog as I did and suddenly things become illuminated. I wish him all the best as he bows out gracefully and full of class!

Thanks guys, I had some great times in Agony and will miss you all.
Hit me up on steam if you want to play dota2 or anything (details are in the old Agony steam thread if you don't already have them)! 
I'll probably also be at the next London meet (the Eve one, not the Agony one which I unfortunately had to miss) if you want to drop by for a beer/non-alcoholic beverage.

So shocked to see this, yet I understand as much as I grieve for the loss to our entire community. You've been such an influence to so many - especially me. I wouldn't be the pilot I am today without you (lol ya I know my piloting is still questionable but just imagine how much worse it was!)

Enjoy the retirement, Az. Was great fun to fly with you and hang out in Iceland. Maybe we'll see you back some time, and if you want to lead a slightly lower profile life at that time, it actually turns out these guys don't kill directors who retire, so I'm sure we could find you a spot.
