[OPEN] January 19 @ 19:00 Alumni Cruiser Roam!

We will be running a nullsec Alumni/Agony roam on the 19th of January at 19:00 EVE time. Anyone who has completed PVP-BASIC is invited to join.

This roam will be supported by our soon-to-be freshly-graduated new Skirmishing class students! Knowing that we will have newly trained skirmishers scouting for this fleet, please be patient if the roam moves a bit slower than normal.

• Date and time: January 19th @ 19:00 EVE Time
• The fleet will form up in Berta.
• Roam is expected to last around four (4) hours.
• Roam only is free for alumni, but donations to our ship replacement fund are always welcomed
• Limit 50 attendees, plus the Skirmishing class students and Agony.
• FC is to be determined/announced in a few days (probably Gizznitt but not confirmed yet - no, Greygal is NOT the FC this time, so you have some hope of survival!)

The fleet

Cruisers. Any cruiser except the Bellicose and logi cruisers. Sorry, but TPs will be useless. Logi would be very useful, but people will be less likely to engage us and as we are using new skirmishers, we want to keep the fleet simple and straightforward. Yes, you can bring blingy faction, T2, and even T3 if you want. Plan on losing it.

You must fit:

• At least 1 EWAR mod in the mids. Preferably 2-3 if you have the slots. EWAR Mods to fit include point, scram, web, sensor damp, or tracking disruptor. No jammers unless the ship is bonused for it (Blackbirds). No TPs. Bring extra mods to Berta in case you need to switch out or if a fleet member needs one.
• If using a damp, fit Targeting Range Damp script. If using a TD, fit Optimal Range Disruptor script. In both cases, bring the other script and put it into your cargo.
• NO SEBO. If you fit a Sensor Booster I will reach through the monitor, into your room, and strangle you to death.
• You may go with armor or shield fit.

We suggest people flying a Blackbird have another ship available in case we have too much ECM (is there such a thing?)

We're not posting specific fits, as fitting them yourself and playing with EFT/Pyfa can be a lot of fun. However we do ask that you follow these fitting guidelines:

• Fit a propulsion mod, MWD is highly prefered but an AB is fine if you have cap or fitting problems.
• Fit appropriate ewar please, ECM On BB's, tracks on Arbitrator, damps on Celestis, short range ewar like scram/web on fast ships like SFIs and long range ships like caracals go for damps. We will be balancing ewar before we head out so do not worry too much about it.
• Weapons should be able to hit around 15-20km, so blaster fans make sure to fit for the extra range needed. Bring Null ammo and expect it to be your default!
• Lows should be damage mods, tracking enhancers, nanos etc.

IMPORTANT: you must be an Alumni of at least our PVP-BASIC class to attend this roam. While we love non-Alumni and our FW friends on our roams, because this roam is linked with the Skirmishing class, it is important that only those who already know how to fly with Agony be a part of the roam. AkJon, because this is the first time we're running this skirmishing class, it's going to be limited to first-time Students only. As you've already taken it, you're already a graduate of the class What's being taught isn't hardly different at all from the time you took it, it's the methodology of how the class is run that is different.

Besides, all students in the Skirmishing class will be on this roam, anyways

EDIT: Instructors for the class just informed me you can attend the class itself again if you want, but as a student (meaning would have to enroll and pay again), not as an alumni.

Edit again: We will be allowing alumni of the skirmishing class on future skirmishing classes, we just want to ensure we're able to really really focus on the first-time students this time, as it's the first time we're running this revamped class.
