It's a New Year, so let's go make explosions with... wait for it ... drumroll... New <em>b</em> ships! <img alt=":)/>" class="bbc_emoticon" src="http://www.agony-unl...ault/smile.png" />
Ya, that's a lame pun but we're overdue for a newbie ship roam! So grab some alcohol (assuming you have any left after New Year's Eve) and come join us for a giggle-inducing roam through nullsec to celebrate the New Year and work off hangovers!!
Set up a few newbie ships of your choice. In your highs, fit for as much damage as you can, it's going to be short range but try to get around 5-6km optimal if you can without gimping yourself too much.
For your mids, fit a prop mod (afterburner/microwarp drive) if you can and in your spare mid, fit some sort of ECM or tackle (damp, track, point, scram or web). Ibis's, fit a jammer of your choice in your 2nd mid (for this roam, multispec is fine as are any of the racial jammers - we'll balance them out before we undock). In your lows fit a damage control unit if you have room, and whatever else you want.

We'll go out and play with the newbie ships for a round or two of fun, then as the fleet <strike>whelps</strike> consolidates we'll ship up to frigs and destroyers.
Which means, also have a few spare frigates (t1/t2) and/or destroyers of your choice available. Shortish-range (5-10km optimal), fit for as much gank as you can, prop mod, preference for shield tank if you fit a tank (but not a big deal if you go armor or DCU-only tank). Griffins and logi frigs welcome.
Staging system is Berta (Sendaya for flashies). Set your medical clone to Berta (Sendaya for flashies), <span style="color: #ff0000">make sure you're in a cheap/naked clone</span> (I routinely get us all killed!),

There is no cost for this roam.

If you have never flown on an Agony roam before, please <a class="bbc_url" href="http://www.agony-unl...cations_in_PvP" title="">read this article</a> so you understand our communication philosophy - we like our coms to stay reasonably clear and clutter-free. Being that this will be a somewhat casual, alcohol-influenced roam, I'll be a bit lenient on com's discipline for the uninitiated, but I don't want our coms to be a zoo, either.
I expect to roam for around 2 or 3 hours, but don't be surprised if we're still flying around as the sun comes up.
If you have the time and are willing to do some scanning an hour or so before the roam, I think it would be terrific if we could find a wormhole or three that provides us with some back-doors into nullsec. I don't mind throwing us at the usual gate camps in Doril and/or HED-GP, but that's getting kind of predictable and boring... and ya'll know what happens when I get bored...
If you would like to try your hand at scouting or skirmishing, please state so in your post below and have appropriate ships available in Berta.
HIGHLY recommend cheap/empty clones! Don't say I didn't warn you....
