This was the first Wolfpacks class that Greygal, Wulfrunner, Chrome, Roddex and Sadamu taught, so we would love your feedback - good, bad or indifferent! Please share your thoughts on the Wolfpacks roam and class, what you thought was good, what you think we could improve on, etc. First class got a few nice little kills during our gatecamp practical exercises and while moving through nullsec - sorry we ran out of time for a proper live-fire-to-the-wreck battle. Second class got live under-the-gun *ack!* practice in escaping a heavy gang chasing us down and hunting us! Ya'll were great students; it was a lot of fun today for all of us, and I can't wait for the roam in about 12 hours! ================ Had a really nice roam, although targets were a bit thin, the roam was a lot of fun and we got a nice number of kills. Maudite is the most patient coolest FC! The highlight of the roam wasn't exactly a fight... one of Agony's skirmishers, Roddex, lost his ship early in the roam and was still in a pod when we tackled and started attacking a Caracal, then suddenly the Caracal pilot ejected from his ship! Roddex hopped into the ship and then proceeded to fly it the rest of the roam! This was so funny! When the main roam was over, I took a few of the hard-core remnants of the fleet back out and, as is my tradition, got us all blown up in a giggle-inducing manner a number of times plus the bonus of a few more kills. Thoroughly enjoyed flying with all of you. This class was terrific, coms discipline was top-notch, almost nobody said the dreaded J word, we had fun and I look forward to flying with you all again soon! As always, my thanks and appreciation to all of Agony who make these classes possible!

Thank you for a very enjoyable class! Wulfrunner did a great job carrying out the practical exercises, everything was clear and concise! The practical exercises really help to understand the theory and help not be terrified of bubbles in nullsec - they are not so scary after all and quite possible to avoid if you know what you are doing as well, unless you jump into one with a huge camp fleet, I guess. Hopefully the roam will be a blast and can't wait for the next classes.

Great class GG.... having the practical sessions and doing hands on exercises made the understanding of theory so much easier to get and the picking up of the skills easier...

Another great class GG! And super job by Roddex, chrome diopside and Sadamu Iida who added quality instruction as well. Highly recommended training. Can't wait for the roam later today!

Props to GG for the class, WUlf for a very well pulled off practical with lots of distractions but still managed to keep students on task and learning Roddex 'king of bubbles' and awesome skirmish work ... o7

Great class, great roam, as usual! Refreshed my urge for 0.0 fun. I'll have to start tagging along on some of the upcoming Basic and Wolfpacks roams.

Great and long roam, loved it ! Maybe a bit more synchronisation between the FC and scouts sometimes. It was fun AND serious, love it !

That was a very nice roam last night albeit a bit low on targets which is beyound anybody's control of course. On such nights Gizz impessively proves that he's the devil's own bait.
I have to admit that I was on the wrong side of the I-1Q/74-V gate (I blame my hangover) so I had to make my way to HLW in a pod of alumni shame.

BTW, Mang is sorry that we didn't meet but his roam ran into a -A- overblob and died therein happily. On the other hand they were still almost 150 max dps BCs so we actually avoided to die in an overblob ourselves. Also, the target list (1. Akjon, 2. me, 3. Mortis) was officially confirmed.

So big thanks to Maudite, GG and all the helpful bees (wasps?) of AGONY.

PS: I would have had volunteered for fleet support but my attendance to a certain Munich beerfest left barely enough surviving brain cells to keep my vegetative nervous system alive. Also, my support ships are in Stacmon and equipping a ship in Berta (with very little time and a huge hangover) is really painful.

PPS: Thankfully both our roams avoided this (RnK was doing their pipe bombing thing in Provi last night).

Thanks all for coming! We never really did get the GFs, but at least there was a fair amount of overall activity to keep us occupied. Killing a pod with a full set of crystals is always a bit of fun! And thanks to Agony support. This roam started farther from our home base than usual but we still had the support needed to make it work and it was much appreciated. I see that some of you went back out after I logged off. True warriors!!

I certainly added to my PVP knowledge this weekend. The practical exercises helped a lot and the 9 hour roam was a blast! The Agony team did a super job; I'll be doing the upcoming 'basic' training as an alumni. Thanks for all the time you folks put in to these classes. Two roles I would like to learn more about are the scout/recon/tackler and the bubbler.

I sat in on this as an alumni seeing that I did the wolfpacks pre-dessie buff so was still main focus on the alpha fleet and wanted to see what / how much changed in the class itself. The thing I noticed that kinda went amiss on the early class (I don't know if it was covered in the later one) was warping 'around', this was more specific to the alpha fleets where you wanted to be able to warp out very soon after you've landed much more so than the HSSR fleets. If I'm a bit unclear I'm talking about how to position yourself that you can warp to land next to the bubble and not in the bubble. Overall a great class

I could be wrong but I think you're talking about a flyby maneuver, where we land at one point, align, warp to the next point, attack then warp off. Much of that kind of maneuvering and similar exercises are now in the flybys class. The exercises in the classes on Friday with bubbles were more about understanding bubble mechanics and how to use them to your advantage. You are correct in that we didn't go over the theory behind the HSSR fleet in class much at all - I intended to touch on it some but I kinda forgot (the targets of opportunity in the first class and the gang escape in the second class kinda distracted me!)

As CCP is tweaking Destroyers again, plus giving us new ones (cheer!), we will be changing the Wolfpacks class to accommodate those changes. .One of the changes I *MAY* be making is bringing more strategic fleet maneuvering (such as simple flybys) into Wolfpacks and moving some of the stuff like fleet boosting information into a higher level class in order to "open up" more class time for playing with fleet movements more. I think it would bring even more value to the Wolfpacks class to do this, but no definite decisions have been made yet.

Many are drooling over theorycrafting new fleet doctrines designed around the new Destroyers... exciting times for Destroyer fans!

I enjoyed the class and learned some things I had never heard about. I also got the feeling that the class was very thorough. So, thanks!
