I've always preferred using range rather than angles to eliminate/isolate targets. I feel like you're sharing all my secrets.
Couple of suggestions:
On the anomaly scan you had 2 results. You should have immediately warped to 1 of them.
When scanning down a POS, isolate the planet first, then warp to it. That makes it easier to isolate the POS.

The point of the video was to show how to scan an anom, not skirmishing techniques
You'll notice that when I was scanning for a target at a belt, I did warp straight to the other one once I scanned the first one and there was no target there (i.e., building on the knowledge of the prior demonstration).I actually disagree with going to the planet first when scanning a pos, although there are times when I will do that - it's situational. It is not unusual for people to have bubbles and/or cans anchored at common warp-in points at planets. In wormhole space, I'm finding a lot of corps are setting up their POCOs at common warp-in points on planets! (Which is hysterically funny!)
I do prefer using the range method, I find it particularly useful and effective in wormhole space where you don't have quite so much junk on dscan as you do in nullsec. In nullsec, I use both range and angles, depending upon which is going to be fastest way for me to find my target.
