Here's a mini-guide:

To get on to the test server is surprisingly easy.

What I did was create a new folder called EveSiSi (you can call this folder whatever you like) in the root of my c: drive. Then I went to the eve program folder c:\program files\ccp and copied the "eve" folder across to EveSisi so I now had C:\EveSiSi\Eve.......etc.

Then you go to the patch website (see the link below for a link to the patch) and download the patch for SiSi. Make sure you use the path to your new copied install (not your main client, otherwise you won't be able to login to tranquility).

It's all explained in this link


Occasionally if they roll back a patch, they might require you to copy your main client across to the C:\EveSiSi and reapply a patch, but this doesn't happen all that often (it happened last week though).

SiSi was last mirrored on yesterday using a copy of Tranquility from May 5th according to the Schedule

So provided your account was active on May 5th, you should be able to access SiSi. Your skills will be the same as at May 5th.

NB the above folks as it doesn't seem to have copied my character's updates since my prior post accross either, as such if I hadn't logged in to the test server and set it training lv2 & 3 in cynosural fields I wouldn't have the needed skills.
Shame we couldn't have sent payment on the test server. !lol

There seem to be an access problem with the articles in the course material. Although I have been signed up and confirmed for the class for a long time, I have no access to the articles. Btw, have you considered the fact that there is a lot of FW/EA testing going on at the testserver in the period leading up to the class? As to ships - would you like me to bring a dread, a black ops, a carrier or a cyno recon ship? Kath

You have been confirmed since yesterday, as that's when I processed payments. Access has not yet been granted, as I can't do it and have to get in touch with an administrator, which basically means the directors for that. There will be poking of those with the power to do so. Oh yes, there will be poking.
