In fact, sometimes you even get some help with your wardec in the form of scouting, bumping, and even RR! Totally dependent on serendipitous circumstances though.

Just make sure that if there is a student in the class with you who is at war with your corporation you DONT SHOOT- everyone student is blue with each other while on the roam

And obviously: it's your responsibility to keep yourself safe during the class. If we're able to assist you in some way thanks to aggression mechanics we will, but often that won't be the case. Just because you're in a fleet doesn't mean you're safe, so if war targets show up do what you have to do.
