Are the FLYBY type dessie fittings adaptible for this event? If so, please consider unlocking the course materials for the Feb 12 PVP-FLYBYS course, a few days earlier, so I can study and adapt them for this under 25km range event.

I believe flyby range is 40km+ minimum, so no, not really.

In regards to fittings: Don't fit for long range (ala flybys) - follow cr8r's under 25km guidance. (which means say 250mm arty thrashers, with some tackle or ECM, or a similar range fit other faction). Even with T2 blasters and a Cormorant, Kaz with can't hit past 15KM (with T2 ammo) and the rest of the mids/lows with range stuffs. Why fit to hit to 25km? As the 'target' on a Wolfpacks demo in the past (with 90k+ EHP), if you don't get on the first salvo, you might not have a target left to get on a KM for.

NUBLET TRAVEL ADVISORY: Be extra mindful of the force when traveling to Hemin. The roads to the rendevous seem extra 'friendly', almost like some folks might have read this thread and prepared for a steady stream of lone arty-fit dessie pilots unwise in the ways of nullsec evasion. . Anyway, the shopping around here pretty much blows so if you dont make it intact you may not have time to suit up again before the dance. Watch it! Cheers

Actually Hemin has a very good market, if you get popped on the way in you should be able to fit out a new dessie.

Its not as bad as I first thought because I was trying to remake my original fit. The main issue is a lack of 250mms. There are plenty of 280s but then APCs are an issue. No biggy, where theres a will theres a way... though some will definately be left wanting if there is a glut of poppings
