OMFG! That was so awesome, there are no words to describe how incredibly FUN that was! Good job to all the Agony folks for the CovOps work, and "keeping the cats herded". Also, to Rells for suffering through an 11-hour shift with that voice. I don't know whether to call him dedicated or crazy. During that epic BS massacre his voice was getting so high and cracked, I thought he sounded like a girl! Quite a hard-ass trooper, dude! 8)

yeah. it's almost like they come into those fights with smartbombing battleships thinking "Poor destroyers. It's like it isn't even fair.." and we go in thinking "Smartbombing battleships. Like THAT hasn't been tried before.." Now we need to find a place where Myrtha can upload the Vent log and Sev can work his video majicks.

Will it be public so we can all enjoy the memories? Then again if it is public it might deter others from trying to smartbomb the classes and we'll have fewer targets for future fleets.

Where there are AGONY classes, there are people who think "Why don't we just smartbomb them?" We even have repeat customers, despite the low effectiveness rating.

With the poor range of smartbombs (not even web range) I just don't understand why people at all think that smartbombing could be a viable tactic. I mean unless you set up a really good trap to where the small ships drop in right in your lap and die before they can get out of range, it just makes no sense to even try it. The frigates/destroyers are just going to sit outside of your range and laugh while they make you melt.

if i was going after an agony wolf pack i think caracals with fof missiles ( for if you get jammed only obviously ) would be a better chocie than smart bombs maybe with some ecm bust to make life hard for blaster boats and as many drones as is humanly possible

Personally I think they had originally set up a trap which may (or may not) have been effective. Rells in all his wisdom decided that the situation smelled bad from the start and gang warped the fleet away to recompose itself and decide whether to re-engage or move. It turns out that this worked to our advantage as we were more read for the backup they would warp in afterwards but without the quick thinking of our FC it may have gone in a completely different direction.
