We heard about this through Teadaze yesterday evening and have been sharing our memories of her privately in Agony. She was an amazing person, a rare breed of girl who could hang with the guys and give as good as she got at every turn. She not only survived a stint as an Agony member, but thrived and after she left went on to be one of our greatest missionaries preaching the good word of the pew-pew to the needy pod pilots in EVE. Always playful, sarcasm never far from the tip of her tongue, she was one of my favorite people to show up to one of my classes when I was teaching BASIC regularly. A fantastic person. I'll be missing her.

Cath Thoughts to her friends and family, she was always a great person with a wicked sense of humour...it was always gonna be a fun roam when you heard her on Vent.

I wish to express my sincere condolences to all of Ecatherina W's friends and family... During my time here in the Agony forums, I came to enjoy her wit in her posts. I did not have the privilege of getting to know her. I am truly sorry to hear of her passing, and pray that she is safe and sound, wherever she now may be. Vj

Having both flown with Ecath and spent a bit of time with her in RL on a couple of occations, I am shocked and saddened to hear of this news. She had a heart of gold and deserved the best in life. Sometimes it seems the cards are just stacked against you. (

OMG I just discovered this now. I was a self-confessed member of the Ecath fan club, we had a few heart-to-hearts in our Agony time and I always thought she'd be there stirring the pot whenever I came back to hang with Agony. I miss you, you loud crazy nutcase!

Am sorry to hear about this. She was a good pilot, and one of the first people who I met in game by name. She used to yell at me for fitting microwarp drives on my blaster fit destroyers. Good times. My best to her and her family.

Cath was a huge supporter of Agony and PVPU. More than a lot of people know. It's a bit sad for me to pop on here looking to reunite and find news like this.

Oh, I am so sad to hear of this. She was very positive part of my Eve experience. We met through the enrollment forum of my first AGONY course. She replied to my questions, helped me get a jumpclone and cheerfully fostered me along as the world of Eve unfolded before me. Though I never met her, I feel a great loss. ...Goodbye, my friend....
