Rells has rejoined Eve part time and will be hosting a reunion of pvp university graduates gang starting from Esa at 18:00 Eve Time on Sunday. This is an informal gang, no classes or lessons, and not necessarily sponsored by AGONY, just by Rells. The goal is to do just a bunch of combat. I will be happy to answer any questions that people might have about pvp in light ships that are within my knowledge but this is not an organized class.

Come in a hull destroyer size or lighter and I would encourage destroyers if you can fly them. Even if you haven't taken PvP wolfpacks you will be pleasantly surprised at your firepower. Come in any light tech 1 or 2 ship you want but be forewarned that the moment you undock, that ship should be considered lost. Have spare ships waiting. I fly very aggressively. We will be flying in Providence and surrounding regions and basically blasting the bad guys. Upgrade your clone and come along.

Be sure to think of your roles in the gang. If you want to try your hand at flying covops or recon, you must have a ship capable of a covert ops cloak. If you want to try skirmishing come in something fast built only for tackle, not damage. This is a good time to stretch yourself and work on your skills in a large gang.

This thread can be used for asking questions and notifying that you will be coming along. Please let me know if you will be coming along so I can make appropriate plans. I am looking forward to flying again with many of our students.

Possible Gang roles:
* FC: Me, but if you would like to give it a try for a bit, let me know.
* Navigator: Plans routes for gang that take them to most likely target ares. This person should be good with dotlan and eve in game maps and be able to plan escape routes and so on.
* Recon: Cloaked unsung heros that find stuff and keep the gang safe. Usually need no more than 3. You must have a covops cloak capable ship and be able to probe.
* Interdiction: The art of flying bubble ships. If you want to fly an interdictor, set up a time to come talk to me on vent before the gang so we can get you on the same page and give you a jump start. Interestingly you will find the secret of interdiction is knowing when to NOT use the bubble.
* Skirmish: Highly agressive, high speed pilots ahead of the gang flying dangerously and trying to catch targets or seduce them into the gang. 4 pilots is great for this. Skirmishing is very dangerous so keep that in mind and have spare ships. Good skirmishers are some of the best pilots in eve.
* Core combat: DPS, offensive close ewar (nos, neut).
* Pure Ewar: Jamming, damping, tracking disrupting with minimal offensive capability. A good way to be primary target but a heck of a lot of fun. Electronic Attack Frigates fit the role well.
* Sniping combat: Destroyers fitted with tech 2 long guns can track and take out light targets at long range. Make sure you have ammo for short range as well.
* Tactical Support: Makes tactical bookmarks for gangs, provides warp out anchors for damaged ships to repair. Act a lot like a skirmisher but is usually near the gang. You must be in a very fast ship to do this role.

Sounds awesome! I've got family coming into town, but hopefully I can make it. I'm up for skirmishing in an interceptor, or any other role as needed, except interdiction. Edit: Actually, looks like I'll have bubbles trained by then, so I could do Interdiction in a Flycatcher as well. Of course, I'll be a total noob at it. (Then again, I'm not that experienced as a skirmisher either...)

For those wishing to fly dictors I will be on vent off and on all day today and you can come talk to me. Its important that we talk before hand. For those offering multiple ships, Pick one. I am hoping the gang will be sizeable so I am not going to go selecting the ships individually. Or pick several if you want. When yout die (notice the "when") you can try something else.
