Today is the funeral for my poor old mouse so I can complete the greiving process. It was a very cheap PC line optical mouse but it served me very well. The paint has rubbed off on nearly all the points of contact and it intermittantly cuts out now. Its replacement arrives Monday.

The new mouse has arrived early. So far so good although it is quite suprising how much muscle memory I had built up with the old one. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes me to adapt to the new beasty.

Still tweaking the settings but so far so good. I went for a corsair vengeance M65 in the end. It was either that or the razer imperator but loads of negative reviews on that one for the reliability.

Razer Blackwidow Ultimate for keyboard is absolutely brillaint, as for mouse Logitech G550 has always treated me well

I'm other way round Rev - I love Razer mice but have been very happy with a Logitech G11 - they do even fancier keyboards now, mind you. Depends what functionality you're looking for really - tho with mice I think is what feels comfortable in your hand. Hope that helps.

Step grandad's funeral today. I think as an Atheist I find funerals the most awkward occassion to deal with. All those platitudes about seeing them on the other side etc. I will just have to bite my tongue as normal and resist the temptation to kick away at all their emotional crutches.

Still haven't actually made a practice, RL conspired to make me late then when I actually got on duality and got settings copied I managed to get stuck in some kind of CCP limbo and couldn't join in. Pissed off!

Found nearly a thousand pounds(uk sterling) of crack and heroin at work today. Barely one word of thanks from the police for contacting them and handing it in.

If it makes it back. So far over the course of my life I have abused cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy with police officers but I think crack and heroin are more personal drugs and to be taken on your own whilst off duty.
